Tracy Dell'Angela has a diverse and extensive work experience in the education and non-profit sectors. Tracy started their career as an Education Reporter, Internet Editor, and Staff Writer for the Chicago Tribune Media Group. Tracy then worked at the University of Chicago Consortium on School Research as a Senior Manager of Outreach and Communications, where they focused on building schools' capacity to address their challenges through rigorous research. Tracy also served as the Director of Outreach and Communications at the U.S. Department of Education, Institute of Education Sciences. Tracy later became the Director of Program Investments and Strategic Partnerships at The Chicago Public Education Fund, where they played a vital role in improving evaluation and accountability systems in public schools. Tracy worked as the Senior Project Director for the University of Chicago's Urban Education Initiative, managing the implementation of teacher professional development studies for the 100Kin10 initiative. Tracy was also the Managing Editor and Program Director for Education Post. Prior to their current role, Tracy was the Executive Director of the Oak Park Education Foundation (OPEF), a privately funded education enrichment nonprofit, where they expanded programming and access for at-risk learners. Tracy's most recent position is as the Director of Development at The Center for Child & Family Health.
Tracy Dell'Angela holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism & Political Science from San Diego State University. Tracy also pursued studies in the Social Sciences at the University of Chicago.
