Amanda van Hoozer

Amanda Van Hoozer has extensive work experience in the field of child protection. Amanda started their career as an Investigation Caseworker at the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services in May 1990 and later became an Investigations Supervisor. In 1996, Amanda joined the Center for Child Protection as a Program Coordinator/Director of Program Services. Amanda held this role for over 20 years until January 2018, when they were promoted to Chief Program Officer. Amanda's experience spans over three decades and reflects their dedication and expertise in protecting and advocating for children.

Amanda Van Hoozer attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1985 to 1989, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government.
