The Center for Community Solutions
Julie Patterson, MPH, serves as the Director of the AIDS Funding Collaborative at The Center for Community Solutions, focusing on enhancing the community's response to HIV/AIDS in Cuyahoga County through coordination and advocacy. With experience as an HIV Prevention Advocate with AVAC and as an adjunct faculty member in the Master of Public Health Program at Case Western Reserve University, Julie has contributed significantly to public health education and HIV prevention research. Julie founded Silver Creek Strategies to address public health gaps in Northeast Ohio and has held various roles, including Director of Capacity Building at the AIDS Taskforce of Greater Cleveland. Julie holds a BA in Child Study and Peace and Justice Studies from Tufts University and an MPH in Health Behavior/Health Education from the University of Michigan.

The Center for Community Solutions is a nonpartisan think tank focused on solutions to health, social and economic issues, with offices in Cleveland and Columbus. Three areas of expertise support every aspect of our work: Applied Research; Nonpartisan Public Policy and Advocacy; and Communications with a focus on the following policies: *Strengthening the Health and Human Services Safety Net *Medicaid *Safety, Health, and Economic Wellbeing of Older Adults *Improving Maternal and Infant Health *Improving Access to Behavioral Health Services We believe by properly combating these issues, we will be one step closer to achieving our main goal: to improve the quality of life of all Ohioans.
