Melanie M.

Melanie M. is an accomplished academic and professional with extensive experience in education, research, and program development. As the founder of Fellowship Trek since January 2022, Melanie M. has been dedicated to assisting diverse graduate students in securing competitive research fellowships. In the role of Learning & Impact Strategist at The Center for Cultural Power, Melanie M. leads research and evaluation efforts that connect grassroots social justice initiatives with BIPOC artists. Previous roles include directing fellowships at The University of Texas at El Paso, managing grants at the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation, and serving as a postdoctoral fellow at Denison University. Melanie M. has also taught at various institutions, focusing on topics such as environmental politics and international relations, and possesses a PhD in Political Science from the University of Connecticut.
