Crisis Services Advocate at The Center for Family Justice

Samm Williams is currently serving as the Emergency Shelter Support Manager at the Connecticut Coalition to End Homelessness since June 2024, ensuring that emergency shelters in Connecticut operate at the highest standards. In addition, Samm has been a Crisis Services Advocate at The Center for Family Justice since September 2019, assisting victims of domestic and sexual violence. Prior experience includes various roles at Open Doors, including Data & Property Manager, Community Outreach Case Manager, Shift Supervisor, Case Manager Intern, and Front Desk Representative from September 2018 to May 2024. Earlier experience includes a position as Jr. Sous Chef at Gates Restaurant & Bar from December 2016 to October 2017. Samm holds an Associate of Science degree in Human Services and Psychology from CT State Norwalk, earned between 2017 and 2019.
