Marcos Pope

Marcos Pope's most recent work experience is as the Director of Programs & Client Services at The Center for Family Resources starting in November 2022. Before that, they worked at the City of Atlanta (WorkSource Atlanta) as the Director of Finance, Operations, and Strategic Planning from June 2020 to May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at the Technical College System of Georgia as a Grants Specialist, focusing on operations, program administration, and budgeting from April 2017 to June 2020. Earlier in their career, they held the role of Operations Manager at the Atlanta Community Food Bank from July 2004 to December 2016, and served as the Chief Operating Officer at Kickin Chicken from 2000 to 2003.

Marcos Pope earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in African Studies/African-American from the University of South Florida in 2003. Marcos then pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Organizational Leadership-Ethics from Claremont Lincoln University from 2018 to 2019. In addition to their degrees, Marcos obtained two certifications: the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in May 2021, and the Post-Crisis Leadership Certificate from the same institution in July 2020.
