Katherine Dyson, M.A., AMFT, currently serves as an Associate Psychotherapist at Cutting Edge Counseling, specializing in trauma recovery through EMDR and somatic techniques. In addition, Katherine holds the position of AMFT School-Based Counselor at The Center for Professional Counseling, providing individualized support to elementary school students facing emotional and social challenges. Katherine's extensive background includes roles as a faculty member in choreography at Palos Verdes Performing Arts and in dance/theater at AMDA College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts. Katherine's professional journey began in performance, with notable experience in theater as an actor with SAG-AFTRA and the Actors' Equity Association. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Touro University Worldwide and a Bachelor of Arts from Saint Mary's College of California.

We are the only non-emergency outpatient mental health facility that is open seven days a week in the San Fernando Valley.
