Victoria Sorg

Victoria Sorg, CFRE, currently serves as the Director of Development at OpenSecrets since May 2023. Previously, Victoria held the position of Senior Development Director at The Dayton Foundation from November 2021 to May 2023, where responsibilities included liaising with attorneys and financial advisors, advising nonprofits on charitable strategies, and conducting donor research. Prior experience also includes serving as the Director of Development and Marketing at Springfield Foundation from February 2016 to August 2021, leading significant fundraising efforts and enhancing social media engagement. Additionally, Victoria worked as a Financial Advisor at Thrivent from March 2014 to February 2016, providing strategic financial advice and maintaining compliance with industry regulations. Victoria holds a Master's degree in Philanthropy and Nonprofit Development from the University of Northern Iowa and a Bachelor's degree in Financial Economics from Wittenberg University.
