Ally Beckman is a Senior Clinician for External Relations at the Center for Victims of Torture. With a background in psychotherapy and social work, Ally has a wealth of experience in providing support and counseling to individuals in need. Throughout their career, Ally has held various roles within the organization and has also worked as a Crisis Worker at North Memorial Health. Ally holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and French from Grinnell College.

The Center for Victims of Torture works toward a future in which torture ceases to exist and its victims have hope for a new life. We are an international nonprofit dedicated to healing survivors of torture. We provide direct care for those who have been tortured, train partners around the world who can prevent and treat torture, and advocate for human rights and an end to torture. CVT's mission is to heal the wounds of torture on individuals, their families and their communities and to end torture worldwide. CVT is headquartered in St. Paul, MN. In the US, we have offices in Washington DC and Atlanta. We also have offices in Jordan, Ethiopia, Kenya and Uganda.
