The Center for Victims of Torture works toward a future in which torture ceases to exist and its victims have hope for a new life. We are an international nonprofit dedicated to healing survivors of torture. We provide direct care for those who have been tortured, train partners around the world who can prevent and treat torture, and advocate for human rights and an end to torture.

CVT's mission is to heal the wounds of torture on individuals, their families and their communities and to end torture worldwide.

CVT is headquartered in St. Paul, MN.  In the US, we have offices in Washington DC and Atlanta.  We also have offices in Jordan, Ethiopia, Kenya and Uganda.

The Clinical and Development team at the Center for Victims of Torture focuses on providing comprehensive clinical services to survivors of torture while also securing funding and resources necessary for sustaining and expanding these services. They manage therapeutic programs, train healthcare professionals, and develop strategic partnerships and donor relations to support the organization's mission of healing and advocacy.
