Courtney Messerli has been working in the content strategy and search industry since 2012. Courtney started as a Search Marketing Consultant for Yodle for Brand Networks, then moved to Nasty Gal as a Marketing Specialist for SEM & SEO in 2014. In 2016, they were hired as a Global SEO Specialist by Anthropologie, followed by a position as an SEO Strategist at Phelps in 2017. In 2018, they were hired by goop.com as Director of eCommerce & Search and Director of SEO. In 2021, they were hired by The RealReal as Associate Director of Content Strategy & Search and by THE CENTER as Director of SEO & Content Strategy.

Courtney Messerli graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Marketing and a Bachelor of Science in Merchandising. In 2014, they obtained a BrightEdge Certified Professional certification from BrightEdge. In 2018, they obtained a Google AdWords Certified certification from Google.
