Sophie Thomson

Sophie Thomson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Sophie is currently working as the Partner Events Program Lead at The Centre for Effective Altruism since April 2022. Prior to this, Sophie worked as a Business Analyst at Complexas from October 2020 to March 2022. From November 2018 to October 2020, they held the position of Head of Operations at Longview Philanthropy and also worked as a Project Officer at the same company from August to November 2018. Before that, Sophie gained experience as a Visitor Experience Assistant at Somerset House from August 2016 to June 2018. Sophie also had various internships at Unspun, ActionAid, History Today Magazine, and convilleandwalsh in the years prior to their full-time roles.

Sophie Thomson completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts with a Major in Philosophy from King's College London from 2015 to 2018. In 2017, they attended the University of Melbourne, but it is unclear what field of study they pursued. Prior to that, Sophie studied History at the University of Cambridge for the first year of their Bachelor of Arts degree from 2014 to 2015. Sophie completed their A-Levels in English Literature, Philosophy, History, and Extended Project at The King's School Chester from 2012 to 2014.
