Maxim Balanev has extensive experience in supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Chairman of the SME Support Committee at the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry since 2015, Maxim also holds positions as a Member of the SME Support and Development Committee at The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and as a Board Member at the St. Petersburg Chamber for Commerce and Industry, both since 2021. Additionally, Maxim acts as a Public Representative in St. Petersburg for the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, and has led the St. Petersburg Foundation for SME Development as Executive Director since 1998. Maxim holds a degree in Economics and Management from St. Petersburg State Technical University, earned between 1995 and 2000.
