Rebecca Mais

Rebecca Mais, MBA has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over 25 years. Their most recent position is as the Director of Institutional Sales for xChange - The Impact Loan Marketplace, which is the first digital marketplace for prime impact loans. Rebecca is responsible for leading institutional sales efforts in this innovative platform that allows conscious investors to easily acquire prime impact loans at scale. Prior to this role, Rebecca served as the Vice President of Private Mortgage Banking at The Change Company, where they focused on providing equal access to the American dream by offering digital-first banking and best-in-class financial services to Black, Latino, and underbanked communities.

Rebecca also has experience in the banking and finance industry, having worked as the Managing Director and Head of Banking Solutions at Wedbush Securities. In this role, they oversaw the operations of the Banking Solutions division and implemented a program to provide comprehensive services to private wealth management and brokerage clients. Additionally, Rebecca held the position of First Vice President of Corporate Banking - Private Client & Philanthropic Management at Bank of Hope, where they managed corporate banking services for private clients and philanthropic organizations.

With a background in institutional banking, Rebecca worked as the Vice President of Institutional Banking, Director of Nonprofits at Banc of California. Rebecca developed and managed a portfolio of private clients, negotiated with prospects, and focused on revenue growth and client relationship management. Prior to this, they served as a Relationship Manager and Vice President of Private and Entertainment Banking at the same institution, where they were responsible for business development, client retention, and revenue generation.

Rebecca's earlier career includes sales and management roles. Rebecca served as a Sales Manager at Bloomingdale's, where they were recognized for their leadership performance and successfully opened a concept store in Santa Monica. Before that, they held various positions at TD (formerly Commerce Bank), including Regional Branch Operations Manager, Expansion Team Leader, and Certified Lender. In these roles, they generated substantial deposits and led the expansion team in opening new branches on the East Coast.

Rebecca's career started in the fashion industry, where they worked as a Sales Director and Trend Forecaster at The Donna Karan Company, LLC. Rebecca excelled in identifying trends, exceeding sales goals, and executing cross-promotional events to maximize market share.

Rebecca Mais, MBA, holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Organizational Leadership from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School, which they obtained from 2014 to 2016. Prior to their MBA, they attended Philadelphia University from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Before entering university, Rebecca completed their high school education at Immaculata High School from 1996 to 1998. Rebecca additionally holds a certification as a Certified Consumer Lender, obtained from TD in June 2003.
