Ryan Hawkins M.ed.

Ryan Hawkins, M.Ed., currently serves as the Director of Professional and Student Services at McHenry County ROE #44 since July 2023. With extensive experience in educational leadership, Ryan previously held the position of Director of Instructional Services at the Special Education District of Lake County, where responsibilities included curriculum development and various training roles. Ryan also worked as the MTSS/SEL District Coordinator for Waukegan Public Schools, managing support structures across 24 schools. Additionally, Ryan's background includes roles as Principal and Assistant Principal, where significant achievements involved improving student achievement and reducing disciplinary incidents. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in School Administration from Concordia University Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Social Science Teacher Education from Illinois State University. Ryan has also been an active volunteer with Special Friends at The Chapel.
