Sharon Smith is an experienced professional in environmental health and public health policy with a career spanning over several decades. Currently serving as the Regional Stakeholder Manager at The Chartered Institute of Environmental Health since January 2012, Sharon facilitates a membership network and supports over 200 volunteers, while playing a key role in membership development. Previously, Sharon held positions such as Strategic Projects Director and London Policy Officer at CIEH, where responsibilities included delivering strategic initiatives and collaborating with governmental bodies on public health policies. Earlier roles include the Co-ordinator and Project Manager at the Association of London Environmental Health Managers and various positions at local councils, including Head of Service at Richmond Upon Thames. Academic credentials include a Master’s in Health Promotion from the University of West London.
