Maura Conway

Maura Conway is a Principal with The Chartis Group and a leader within the Revenue Cycle practice. She has eighteen years of healthcare experience and fifteen years of experience in Revenue Cycle consulting. Her previous work with academic medical centers, children’s hospitals, healthcare systems, medical groups, and post-acute care organizations includes patient access re-design and financial clearance center implementation, denials management, accounts receivable (AR) strategy and business office/central business office (CBO) re-design, and EMR optimization. Additionally, Ms. Conway has extensive experience performing buy-side diligence of revenue cycle management (RCM) operations for private equity-sponsored transactions; she has also led post-deal opportunity assessments and performance improvement activities aimed at rapid value creation in healthcare provider portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Chartis, Ms. Conway was a Managing Director and co-lead of the Revenue Cycle solution at a global management consulting firm, where she oversaw large-scale Revenue Cycle transformations. In addition, Ms. Conway led RCM operational diligence and post-deal value creation engagements for private equity clients. Her diligence expertise was highlighted in the Bloomberg Law publication “Home Health Sector Due Diligence” (October, 2020).

Ms. Conway received her Master of Science from Georgetown University and Bachelor of Science in integrated science preprofessional studies from the University of Notre Dame.
