Amy Sapola, Pharm.D., FAIHM, IFMCP has extensive experience in the healthcare industry. Amy currently serves as the Director of Health and Wellness, Home Delivery, and Corporate Sales at The Chef's Garden, Inc., where they provide strategic vision and leadership for direct-to-consumer operations. Amy is responsible for executing the Food as Medicine and farmacy programs and collaborates with healthcare providers and insurers. In their previous role as a Clinical Pharmacist at Gundersen St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Amy led the outpatient pharmacy operations and developed ambulatory care services. Amy also initiated a Veggie Rx Program to increase access to fresh local produce. Amy is an Affiliate Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy and has served as the Manager of Clinic Pharmacy Services at Olmsted Medical Center. At Mayo Clinic Rochester, they worked as a Specialty Pharmacist and played a crucial role in managing Hepatitis C cases. Amy also served as an Outpatient Pharmacist and was involved in counseling patients and developing guidelines for pharmacist counseling. Amy Sapola, Pharm.D., FAIHM, IFMCP has an extensive education history. Amy obtained their Doctor of Pharmacy degree from The Ohio State University in 2009. Amy also earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Nutrition from The Ohio State University in 2004. In 2013, Amy attended the Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences and became a Certified Wellness Coach. Amy further pursued their studies in integrative health by completing an Interdisciplinary Fellowship at the Academy of Integrative Health & Medicine (AIHM) from 2016 to 2018, earning the title of Fellow of the Academy of Integrative Health & Medicine (FAIHM). Amy expanded their knowledge in functional medicine by becoming an IFM Certified Practitioner at the Institute for Functional Medicine from 2017 to 2025. Additionally, they completed the Devanadi 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2015, becoming a Yoga Teacher and Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist (AYS). Amy also holds a Culinary Coaching certification from Harvard University, specializing in Culinary Coaching, obtained in 2022. Amy received a Mindful Eating Certificate from The Center for Mindful Eating in 2022 as well. Amy Sapola has demonstrated a commitment to lifelong learning and has obtained various additional certifications, including Aromatherapy, Master Gardener, ReCode and PreCode 2.0 Certified Practitioner, IFM Certified Practitioner, and others. Amy is a Registered Pharmacist with Minnesota and Ohio Boards of Pharmacy and is a Registered Preceptor recognized by the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy.
