Ray Altenburger began their work experience in 1974 at Monsanto, where they held various sales and marketing management positions until 1997. Ray then joined Solutia, Inc as the Director of Sales and Marketing, leading a global team and growing revenues to $200M. In 2003, they moved to The Chemical Company as the VP of Business Development until 2007. Ray then worked at Odyssey Logistics as the Director of Business Development from 2007 to 2009. From 2009 to 2012, they operated their own consulting firm, Altenburger Consulting LLC. In 2012, they returned to The Chemical Company as the VP of New Business Development.
Ray Altenburger attended Rider University from 1969 to 1970, studying Business Administration and Management, General. Ray then transferred to Virginia Tech and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from 1969 to 1972.
