Greg Smith

Greg Smith currently serves as Vice President of Government Affairs at The Chemours Company, a position held since July 2015, where leadership involves managing political and issues advocacy as well as public policy development both domestically and internationally. Prior to this role, Smith was Director of Government Affairs at Chemours from its inception following a spin-off from DuPont, and previously held several government affairs positions at DuPont, including Senior Manager for U.S. Region State Government Affairs. Smith's earlier experience includes roles as Vice President of Public Affairs at Michael A. Burns & Associates, Inc., and various positions at Bustin & Co., Lindsay, Marcel & Smith, and Anderson, Holliday & Jones. Smith holds a Juris Doctor degree from LSU Law and a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Land Management from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
