Ryan Rutledge is an accomplished chemist with extensive experience in the chemical industry, currently serving as the Global Technology Director at The Chemours Company since July 2015. In this role, Ryan is responsible for setting the strategic direction of R&D initiatives for the Titanium Technologies business, overseeing technological development, and leading a high-performing team to drive innovation and business growth. Previous roles at Chemours include Product Innovation Leader, where Ryan led a team in the development and commercialization of new products, and R&D Technical Supervisor, managing site technology leadership and quality systems. Prior to Chemours, Ryan worked as a Senior R&D Chemist at DuPont and as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, focusing on nanomaterials for nuclear forensics. Ryan holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Vanderbilt University and a B.S. in Chemistry from Kentucky Wesleyan College.
