Stuart J. Smith

Stuart J. Smith has extensive experience in regulatory affairs, marketing technical consulting, and product sustainability within the chemical industry, particularly in refrigerants. At The Chemours Canada Company, Stuart served as the Regulatory Affairs, Advocacy, Compliance Manager until retirement, and previously held roles including Senior Marketing Technical Consultant and Product Sustainability and Stewardship Manager, where significant achievements included driving commercialization efforts that generated over $10M in sales. Prior experience at DuPont involved similar roles as a Senior Marketing Technical Consultant and Product Stewardship Manager, where management of regulatory support and customer service for a $200M+ business was a key focus. Stuart holds a PhD and a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Toronto.
