Michael Alkaraki is a seasoned trial lawyer and partner at Leahy Hoste Alkaraki since 2006, specializing in serious personal injury, medical malpractice, and wrongful death cases. In addition to practical legal work, Alkaraki serves as an adjunct professor of law at the University of Illinois Chicago and Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where courses include advocacy, professional identity formation, and trial practice. Alkaraki is also a certified mediator with the Chicago Bar Association and has experience as a law clerk in various legal capacities, supporting labor relations for the Chicago Board of Education and gaining insights into antitrust issues with the Illinois Attorney General's Office. Alkaraki holds a J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and a B.A. in Philosophy from Saint Joseph's College.

Founded in 1874, The Chicago Bar Association is one of the oldest and most active metropolitan bar associations in the United States. The Association's voluntary membership consists largely of lawyers and judges from Cook County and the State of Illinois. However, we do have a growing out-of-state membership of lawyers who want to take advantage of the Association's many membership services and benefits.
