Brian Brashier

Brian Brashier has an extensive background in broadcast production and journalism, with over a decade serving as the Director of Broadcast Productions for The Chickasaw Nation since August 2009. Before this role, Brian held positions as a Weather Anchor at KWTX-TV in 1988 and worked as a Weather Anchor and News Reporter at KTEN Media from 1985 to 1987, later returning in 1995 to sell, write, and produce television commercials. Brian's educational background includes a Bachelor of Journalism in Broadcast Journalism from Mississippi State University (2019-2022) and a Bachelor of Journalism in Broadcasting from The University of Texas at Austin (1983-1985), complemented by two Associate degrees in Biology and Journalism from Paris Junior College (1981-1983).
