Dan Boren

Dan Boren currently serves as the Secretary of Commerce for The Chickasaw Nation, a position held since June 2022, and previously worked as President and Chief Banking Officer at First United Bank from January 2020 to June 2022. Dan Boren was the President of Corporate Development for the Chickasaw Nation Department of Commerce from January 2013 to December 2019, where efforts included driving the Nation's business diversification strategy. A former U.S. Congressman representing Oklahoma's Second Congressional District from January 2005 to January 2013, Dan Boren held various committee roles, including positions on the Armed Services Committee and the Financial Services Committee. Prior political experience includes serving as a State Representative for Oklahoma’s House District 28 from November 2002 to November 2004. Dan Boren holds an MBA in International Business from the University of Oklahoma and a BS in Economics from Texas Christian University, along with participation in several leadership and banking programs.
