Devin Breen is an accomplished Senior Software Engineer at Apple since November 2018, serving as SRE Tech Lead and holding a certification as a Kubernetes Application Developer. As the President, Co-Founder, and CTO of THE CHIDITAROD FOUNDATION since September 2012, Devin leads initiatives to combat food scarcity through grants and creative events. Devin's experience includes founding Ometa, a consulting and technology firm since June 2008, and serving as a Production Tools Engineer at Groupon, where significant contributions were made in building a container-based CI/CD pipeline. Additionally, Devin co-founded and managed the fire performance business Pyrotechniq and served in leadership positions at various organizations, including a release manager role at Linden Lab and a senior consultant role at West Monroe Partners. Devin's educational background includes a BA in Economics and Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and advanced training through Landmark Education.

The CHIditarod Foundation is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit organization created to help solve Chicago’s hunger challenges. The CHIditarod Foundation seeks to alleviate hunger and solve the root causes of hunger through creativity, engagement and direct action. We accomplish these goals by creating unique, creative, participatory events that raise funds (like CHIditarod!), and providing grants to local 501(c)(3) organizations that share our hunger-fighting mission.
