Adure "Renee" Velazquez has extensive experience in the fields of mental health, wellness, and personal development. Currently serving as the Director at the Child Abuse Prevention Center since September 2020, Velazquez also holds multiple roles including Health Initiatives Program Manager and Health Initiatives Senior Project Manager. As co-owner of 360TrendConnection, a holistic business aimed at guiding individuals towards fulfilling their life purpose, Velazquez demonstrates a commitment to personal growth. Previous positions include Supervisor of the Family Support Initiative at LA FAMILIA COUNSELING CENTER INC, Group Fitness Instructor, Behavioral Therapist at CLASS, and various roles at the State of California. Velazquez holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University, a Bachelor of Science in Human Services Management, and an Associate of Arts in Psychology from the University of Phoenix.

The CAP Center is a national and international training, education, research and resource center dedicated to protecting children and building healthy families. We accomplish our mission by ~ Implementing evidence-based practices and programs ~ Collaborating with multi-disciplinary partners ~ Providing training and technical assistance to build capacity ~ Advocating for policies to strengthen children and families and communities Our good work is making a difference in the lives of children and families.
