Child Abuse Prevention Center
Jordan Hosein-Hedmann currently serves as the Communications Coordinator at the Child Abuse Prevention Center, a position held since November 2022. Previously, Jordan was the Event Manager and Pride Director at the Sacramento LGBT Community Center from January 2020 to April 2021, and worked as a Marketing Specialist at Solar City in 2018. Jordan's educational background includes pursuing a degree in Urban Studies/Affairs at Diablo Valley College, along with studies at Sierra College and a high school education at Bella Vista High School and Everglades High School. Additionally, Jordan holds a degree in Marketing and Leadership from Sheridan Technical College.

The Child Abuse Prevention Center's mission is to prevent child abuse and neglect. Our vision is that all children grow up safe and healthy in nurturing families and communities. The CAP Center is a national and international training, education, research and resource center dedicated to protecting children and building healthy families. We accomplish our mission by ~ Implementing evidence-based practices and programs ~ Collaborating with multi-disciplinary partners ~ Providing training and technical assistance to build capacity ~ Advocating for policies to strengthen children and families and communities Our good work is making a difference in the lives of children and families.
