Giovanni Mazza

Giovanni Mazza is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in system administration and integration within healthcare settings. Currently serving as the Sr System Administrator III at Children's of Alabama since July 2008, Giovanni manages the Hospital EHR System based on Epic and engages in performance measurement and data integration using Microsoft SQL Technologies. Previous roles include Sr System Integration Analyst, System Administrator at UAB, and Analyst Programmer at Avianca, with a focus on system integration challenges and web application development. Giovanni holds a Master’s degree in Health Informatics from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, a Master’s in Engineering Computer Science from Kyushu Institute of Information Sciences, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Universidad Tecnológica del Centro.
