Juanfra Gutierrez

JuanFra Gutierrez is a highly experienced pediatric anesthesiologist and educator with a career spanning several decades. Currently serving as an Advisory Board Member at Pro Assurance since 1982, JuanFra has also held the position of President at Pediatric Anesthesia Associates PC since September 1978, where responsibilities include directing a pediatric anesthesia group at a comprehensive children's hospital. Additionally, academic roles include Clinical Professor of Perioperative Medicine, Anesthesiology, Pain Management, and Pediatrics at the UAB School of Medicine and The University of Alabama at Birmingham since 1978. Prior experience includes directing the operating room at West Virginia University Hospitals and serving as Chief of Anesthesia and Perioperative Services at the Naval Submarine Medical Center. JuanFra holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Northeastern University.
