Arta Seyedian

Arta Seyedian is a skilled Web Application Developer and Bioinformatics Engineer currently employed at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia since April 2024, primarily focusing on supporting the pediatric research data sharing network PEDSnet. In this role, Arta is responsible for maintaining and enhancing bioinformatics infrastructure and data processing workflows. Prior experience includes serving as a Bioinformatics Scientist II at the same institution, conducting single-cell analyses for researchers, and as a Research Associate at the Lieber Institute for Brain Development. Arta has a substantial background in bioinformatics, data analysis, and programming, having worked on projects involving modern human genetics at The Johns Hopkins University and pharmacotherapy research at the National Institute on Drug Abuse. Arta holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Neuroscience from George Mason University and is pursuing a Master of Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
