Julia Burke

Julia Burke is a Clinical Nurse Expert at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, with experience in direct patient care, mentoring, and leadership roles in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit since January 2014. Julia has also served as a preceptor, resource nurse, charge nurse, and member of both the Critical Assessment Team and Code Team. Prior to this position, Julia worked as an Aquatic Supervisor at Sesame Place from May 2007 to July 2010, managing a team of 15-20 lifeguards and ensuring the safety of swimming pool patrons. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Penn State University and ongoing studies towards a Master of Science in Nursing Education at Villanova University.
