Julia Embody

Julia Embody currently serves as the Associate Director of Board & Volunteer Relations at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, a position held since June 2023. Prior to this role, Julia worked at The Wharton School from February 2016 to June 2023, where responsibilities included serving as Associate Director of External Affairs for Global Clubs and earlier as Coordinator of External Affairs. In these capacities, Julia focused on alumni relations, fundraising, and logistics, liaising with alumni volunteers around the world. Earlier experiences include roles as Program Associate at the Center for the National Interest and Research Associate at Carnegie Mellon University’s Center for International Relations and Politics. Julia began the professional journey as Office Manager at PhysioDC after completing a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and Politics and Russian Studies from Carnegie Mellon University and furthered studies at Saint Petersburg State University.
