Mia Benson-Smith

Mia Benson-Smith is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in managing physician practices and oncology services. Currently serving as the Physician Practice Manager at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia since July 2018, Mia has also held the role of Oncology Intake Coordinator since December 2011 at the same institution. Prior experience includes positions as a Clinical Educator at Achieving Better Control, Inc., a Radiation Oncology Social Work Intern at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, and an Oncology Patient Navigator at The Abramson Cancer Center. Mia's background in social work and healthcare management is supported by a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Pennsylvania, along with additional degrees in Kinesiology and Psychology from West Chester University and Temple University, respectively.
