Dagny Scannell

Dagny Scannell is a clinical research assistant specializing in gastroenterology at Boston Children's Hospital since July 2025. Prior experience includes serving as a patient care assistant in orthopedics at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, where management of patient intake and preparation for medical encounters was emphasized. Dagny also worked as a synthetic biology research assistant at Thayer School of Engineering, performing various molecular biology techniques. Additional roles included supervising child actors at Northern Stage and interning in octopus cognition research at Dartmouth College. Dagny holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Dartmouth College, with education completed in 2025, and graduated from Bishop Ireton High School in 2021.
