Holly Wobma

Holly Wobma is currently a Pediatric Rheumatology Fellow at Boston Children's Hospital, where work commenced in June 2019, following a residency in Pediatrics. Prior to this, Holly completed an MD-PhD program at Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons from June 2012 to May 2019, focusing on anti-inflammatory cell therapies and clinical research related to bone marrow transplantation and autoimmunity. Holly's research background includes positions as a Research Assistant in Biomedical Engineering, where processes for cell therapy manufacturing were engineered, and in Chemistry, where nanoparticle-based cancer therapeutics were designed. Holly holds a Doctor of Medicine from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and a Doctor of Philosophy in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Columbia University, along with a Bachelor of Health Sciences Honours in Biomedical Sciences and a minor in Nanoscience from the University of Calgary.
