Marc B. Wolpow

Trustee at Boston Children's Hospital

Marc B. Wolpow is co-chief executive officer of Audax Group, a leading investor in middle-market companies that has raised over $26 billion in capital across its private equity and private debt businesses. Together with Geoff Rehnert, he co-founded Audax Group in 1999.

Previously, Mr. Wolpow was a managing director of Bain Capital Inc. from 1990 through 1997; he was engaged primarily in Bain Capital’s private equity investment business. In 1997, Mr. Wolpow established Sankaty Advisors Inc., an affiliate of Bain Capital that invests in bank debt, high-yield bonds, mezzanine loans, and special situations. Prior to joining Bain Capital, he worked at Drexel Burnham Lambert Inc. and Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette Inc.

Mr. Wolpow earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a J.D. from Harvard Law School. He received a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Marc, and his wife, Robin, reside in Hanover, N.H.
