Zakora Moore

Zakora Moore is currently a Research Assistant at Boston Children's Hospital, collaborating with Nora Renthal, MD, PhD, on research focused on genomics related to endochondral ossification and skeletal dysplasias. Prior experience includes serving as a Technical Assistant I at WSU Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture, contributing to an NSF-funded project under the guidance of Prof. Bernard Van Wie. Additionally, Zakora held the position of Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Integrated Design and Construction Lab (ID+CL), working on various projects with Prof. Julia Day and Project Manager Shelby Ruiz. Early career experience includes a Field Engineering Intern role at PCL Construction, where responsibilities included preparing documentation, maintaining field records, and conducting audits. Zakora holds a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Washington State University and is pursuing a Master of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at Tufts University.
