Brooke Prendergast

Brooke Prendergast, LMSW, currently serves as a Staff Social Worker at The Children's Law Center since October 2019. Previously, Brooke worked as a Social Worker at Brooklyn Defender Services from September 2018 to August 2019, providing advocacy, crisis management, and client preparation for court-mandated programs. Brooke's early experience includes a competitive internship that focused on strengths-based client advocacy while pursuing a Master of Social Work at Columbia University. Additionally, a Clinical Social Work Internship at Partnership with Children involved providing trauma-informed counseling and conducting psychosocial assessments. Brooke holds a Master of Social Work from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a minor in Sociology from Loyola University Maryland, as well as experience studying at Newcastle University.
