The Chipstone Foundation
Tina Schinabeck is an experienced curator and director, currently leading One-Off Exhibitions since July 2025, a project that emphasizes experimental and interdisciplinary art. Tina serves as a registrar for The Chipstone Foundation, contributing to the promotion of American decorative arts since July 2017, and has worked as a contract registrar, managing collections for various local art and decorative arts projects. Tina co-founded and managed The Alice Wilds, a contemporary art gallery in Milwaukee, from February 2017 to April 2025. Additional roles include manuscript collections assistant at the Wisconsin Historical Society, collections manager of works on paper at the Milwaukee Art Museum, and research assistant at the same institution, along with a background in library services. Tina holds a Master of Library & Information Science and a Master of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology and Art History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
