Peter Martin LAc has a diverse work experience in the field of acupuncture and healthcare. Peter started their career by establishing their own clinic, Balancemedicine Acupuncture & Massage, in 1993. As the owner, they were responsible for managing the clinic. In 2007, they joined The CHP Group as an Associate Medical Director. Their role in this company is unknown. From 2015 to 2018, Peter worked as an acupuncturist at Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital. Additionally, they served as a member of the Board of Trustees at Oregon College of Oriental Medicine from 1994 to 2016.
Peter Martin LAc completed their education in a sequential manner. Peter started their academic journey at Reed College from 1976 to 1979, majoring in Anthropology, Psychology, and Dance. Following that, they attended Naropa University between 1983 and 1986, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Interdisciplinary: Health & Healing/Dance/Movement Studies. Afterwards, they pursued higher education at Oregon College of Oriental Medicine from 1989 to 1992, earning a Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAcOM) degree with a specialization in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Subsequently, in April 1993, Peter obtained a certification as a Licensed Acupuncturist from the OREGON MEDICAL BOARD.
