Andrew Simon

Andrew Simon is the Editor in Chief at The Chronicle of Philanthropy since April 2024, previously serving as Senior Editor for Global Publishing at McKinsey & Company from July 2021 to March 2024. Andrew has extensive experience in editorial leadership, including roles such as Director of Leadership Programming at Grist, where Andrew founded the Grist 50, and Senior Editor at both Fast Company and ESPN. Additional positions held include Managing Editor at Complex Media, Deputy Managing Editor at VIBE, and Editorial Assistant at Wenner Media. Andrew Simon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Virginia.
