Nicole Wallace is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in nonprofit sector coverage, serving as Senior Editor at The Chronicle of Philanthropy since September 1996. In this role, Nicole develops and writes in-depth stories on critical topics, such as the impact of Silicon Valley donors on philanthropy and the integration of advanced technologies by nonprofits. Previously, as Senior Writer, Nicole led the coverage of rebuilding efforts in the Gulf Coast after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita and developed features highlighting innovative solutions to social issues. Additional roles at The Chronicle include Senior Reporter and Assistant Editor. Before this, Nicole was a Program Assistant at the Association of Farmworker Opportunity Programs from September 1995 to August 1996. Nicole holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, graduating in 1994.
