Cathy Shilton

Cathy Shilton currently serves as the PA to the Bishop of Bedford at The Church of England since September 2019. Previously, Cathy held significant roles at Pearson from December 2014 to August 2019, including Head of Regulation and Head of External Assessment for Vocational Qualifications. Earlier experience includes leading the Awarding Organisation at Sports Leaders UK and holding various managerial positions at City and Guilds from 1993 to 2014, such as Territory Customer Support Manager and Senior/Product Manager, Product Development. Cathy also worked as an Office Manager at Sotheby's and taught English and Drama at Wimbledon College. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the Institute of Education and a 2:1 degree in English & Drama/Theatre Studies from Royal Holloway College, University of London.
