James Sanders

James Sanders has over 20 years of experience in the tax and finance industry. James began their career as a Tax Trainee at EY in 1993 and worked their way up to become a Tax Supervisor. In 1999, they joined Lloyds Banking Group as a Manager/Senior Manager in the Group Tax department. James then took on the role of Head of Tax, Structured Asset Finance and later Senior Director in the Strategic Transactions Group. In 2015, James joined TaxAid as a Tax Volunteer before transitioning to their current position as the Head of Tax & Compliance at The Church of England.

James Sanders attended Eton College from 1981 to 1986, where they obtained their A & O Levels. After completing their secondary education, they went on to study at the University of Oxford from 1986 to 1992. During their time at Oxford, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in PPE & Law.
