Rosie Slater-Carr

Rosie Slater-Carr has held various roles throughout their work experience. Rosie most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer for National Church Institutions at The Church of England since August 2020. Prior to that, they were the Chief Information Officer at the British Red Cross from April 2015 to August 2020. Before joining the Red Cross, they worked at The Children's Society as the Director of Information Systems from November 2012 to April 2015. During their time there, they implemented significant transformation projects and played a key role in the organization's IT strategy. Rosie also worked as a Sessional Lecturer in Quantitative Methods and Philosophy of Science at Birkbeck College, University of London from September 2009 to May 2013, where they designed and delivered lectures to undergraduate and postgraduate students. Rosie also held roles at Cancer Research UK, NSPCC, PA Consulting Group, and IBM United Kingdom Ltd, contributing their expertise in portfolio management, business partnering, and technology strategy.

Rosie Slater-Carr completed their undergraduate education at the University of Oxford from 1995 to 1999, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Philosophy and Economics. Rosie continued their studies at The University of Edinburgh, where they pursued a Master of Science degree in Cognitive Science from 1999 to 2000, specializing in the field of Cognitive Science and Informatics. In the future, Rosie intends to enhance their knowledge in business administration and management, as indicated by their enrollment in the MBA Essentials program at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2023.
