Sam Rylands

Sam Rylands is a Parish Priest at St Andrew's Fulham Fields within The Church of England since July 2020, previously serving as a Curate at St Luke's and Christ Church in Chelsea. Prior experience includes a role as Youth and Community Worker in Tollington Parish and Islington Borough from 2014 to 2016, and a Church Intern at Tollington Parish, part of the Church of England Ministry Experience Scheme. Early experience includes volunteering as a Media Volunteer for Christian Aid from September 2012 to September 2013. Sam Rylands holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Aberdeen, a Master of Arts (MA) in Theology and Religious Vocations from Durham University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Theology and Religious Studies from the University of Cambridge, and a Master of Science (MSc) in International Relations and Global Issues from the University of Nottingham, supplemented by study at the University of Melbourne. Formal education was initiated at Queens College, Taunton.
