Doug Barton is an experienced IT professional with a diverse background in managing financial systems and technical teams across various industries. Currently serving as the IT Solutions Manager for Financial Systems at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since May 2010, Doug oversees a group of technical experts supporting global financial systems and managing multiple programs and projects. Previously, Doug held positions at Affiliated Computer Services from 2005 to 2010 as IT Director/PMO Director/Account Manager, supporting Fortune 500 companies' financial systems, and at Aegon from 1997 to 2005 as IT Director/Assistant CIO/Acting CIO, managing a large team responsible for IT support for one of the largest broker-dealers in the US. Doug began the professional career as a Sr. Programmer at Avon and a Systems Engineer at General Motors, showcasing a solid foundation in programming and systems analysis. Doug holds a Master's degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Utah and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Brigham Young University.
