Norman Black

Norman Black is an experienced professional currently serving as a Manager in the Special Projects Department at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since June 2017, focusing on the decommissioning of temples, project documentation, and software implementation. Prior to this role, Norman held various leadership positions at Brigham Young University Hawaii, including Vice President of Administration and Director of Enterprise Information Systems, overseeing critical areas such as financial services and human resources. Norman's earlier experience includes ten years as a Program Manager at Lockheed Martin, a career in the United States Air Force as a Major in communications, and serving as a missionary in the Italy Milan Mission. Norman holds a Master’s in Information Systems from Webster University, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Programming from Oklahoma City University, and an Associate of Arts from Dixie State University.
