Daniel Carmody serves as the Managing Director of Category Management at The Cigna Group, overseeing Global Procurement and Third Party Management since October 2024. Previously, Daniel held various leadership roles at Cigna, including Managing Director of Corporate Services, where responsibilities encompassed procurement systems and analytics for a major US corporation with significant indirect spend. Their extensive career at Cigna began in 1994, progressing through roles focused on information management, finance program management, and accounting operations, all emphasizing process improvement and operational efficiency. Daniel initiated their professional journey as an Assistant Controller at Shelton Savings Bank after obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Assumption University.
